Mechanical and Physical Character of Sheet-Formed Natural Interior Materials and Application to Products : Characteristic Research and Development of Using on Interior Materials(2)

Abstract

In recent years, the kinds of interior materials from diversification of an interior taste, or consideration of environment are increasing. Entry of a new material or the material seldom used for interior material until now can see. In particular, development of the interior material using a natural material is furthered. In this paper, in order to propose the new usage of natural material such as the sheet-formed interior material, it was aimed at 8 kinds of materials. Those physical and mechanical experiments were conducted, the profile showing character was created, and the feature of each interior material was clarified. Based on the result of this experiment, the screen for partitions by KIGAMI which processed wood and the window treatment by KIORI which wove KIGAMI processed into thread and silk thread were proposed and made as an experiment.
