"Networking" is the most important key-word to analyze contemporary society, changing from industrial society to welfare society. This paper is a report of my survey on social action, social work practice and theory related to networking in Japan. As a conclusion, I would like to point out following tasks: 1. To reconstruct social welfare theory by using "networking" as the key concept. 2. To construct the philosophy of welfare networking. 3. To construct the theory and methods of networking based on networking action and practice. 4. To develop the methods of networking with networkers in various fields.
