Abstract
The writer admits that the recent home-made pulps are not inferior to foreign products from an analytical point of view. Consequently, the physical properties of rayons made from, are being getting better. But, some points as mentioned below are inferior to foreign ones :
1) Flootation in alkali-soaking,
2) Irregularity in Xantation,
3) Retardation of riping,
4) Mottled dying finish, etc.
He also points out that there may be room for improvement in the above points hereafter.
