The writer admits that the recent home-made pulps are not inferior to foreign products from an analytical point of view. Consequently, the physical properties of rayons made from, are being getting better. But, some points as mentioned below are inferior to foreign ones :
1) Flootation in alkali-soaking,
2) Irregularity in Xantation,
3) Retardation of riping,
4) Mottled dying finish, etc.

On having tested the constituents of beech wood and determined the paramount conditions for digesting, the writers admit that the more resin contents in pulp may be increased, the longer the digestion takes, in the analytical view point of the pulp produced ; this result is confirmed as the same with the resin pre-extracted chips as with the above. From these facts, there may also happen any pitch trouble for beech SP. By beating tish pulp mildly, vulganized paper board may be manufactured, they say.

The writers have, in mill scale, made some kinds of K.P. different from the degree of digestion, and examined the change in strength properties to various freenesses. According to the results, tensile and bursting remain highest at about 10-12 of Roe Value. The drop inclination of stpengths is so little for harder pulp, being few differences between them. But, tearing becomes stronger with advanced cooking degree within the limits of less-over-cooking.
