The standing crops of red pine for our study had been fallen down every month of a year at a certainlocation, and their resin contents were determined.
The moisture contents of the standing crops were almost invariable through a year, about 60 %, and on the other hand, the resin contents varied with the seasons, low in summer and high in winter. It was found that the resin contents were not correlative with the diameters, heights and annual diameter increments of the wood samples.
