Sectional Drive Slitter-Rewinder
We have focused the goal of study for Slitter-Rewinder on “quality control of rewound roll”.
1. Control of infeed tension to avoid the bringing of residual stress of the elastic sheet.
2. Nip-pressure control of rewind roll to obtain the optimum friction of the sheet layer by controlling the air which will be contained in the rewound sheet and cutting the tension between the infeed and rewind.
3. Rewind tension control to make the tapered tension control of the rewind possible with the center drive rewind.
Above three factors are the principal rewind functions.
At present, as these factors such as the sheet properties which affect the roll quality, rewindtension, nip-pressure and unwind tension are invisible, we have to assure the method of theoretical analysis, and study deeply about the control system. And for the higher quality, we are intending to develop the higly automated adaptable control.
Roll Wrapping Machine
We concentrated on the development of the automatic wrapping system to correspond with random size rolls, and we have reached to the practical level by repeating the modification. Yet, we have some problems which have to be solved. We will make an effort to solve them.
