About fifteen years have passed since the Honshu Air-formed- Pulp Non-woven appeared on the market.
The company, who has been developing steadily the new products having the features of pulp, succeeded in developing the Totally Dry System (TDS) of the non-woven fabric manufacturing process for a further expanped product line relating to the technology: the new system does not use the water-based binders, resulting in unique products.
The features of the new technology are:
1. To use fibrous or powdery resins of hot melt for the fixing of fibres.
2. to be able to manufacture the thick type of the products with no peeling between the layers by the use of the formation wires of cylinder molds.
3. to be able to manufacture more complex non-woven fabrics because wider combinations of the raw materials are possible.
