UNOX System (high purity oxygen activated slugde process) have been adopted in various industrial field, especially in pulp and paper industries Japan. Over 30 plants are used for pulp and paper industries.
In this paper, we report the new technologies concerning UNOX System such as new aerator, and treatment performance on board-paper waste, DIP waste, KP waste and KP waste plus EVA drain with the date of actual plants and treatability tests. We report that removal efficiency of not only BOD and COD but also even AOX and VOC are remarkable.
