Abstract
A surgical repair of recurrent umbilical hernia in a case of a 4-year-old boy with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is described. In a previous operation, he had postoperative wound bleeding for a week and had recurrence of the hernia. Hemostatic studies revealed normal results. The patient was treated successfully using multiple silk and dexon sutures, tantalum wire sutures and microfibrillar collagen hemostat during the operation.
