Women rough sleepers in Japan are only 3%, but “homeless women” are “Hidden Homeless” and their problems have been buried. Our research in Tokyo identified 1) the features from a gender view of the status of homeless women and their support, 2) conditions of public and private facilities, 3) an evaluation of one women's shelter, and 4) the conditions of stable housing for women who transferred from the women's shelter. We also analyzed the status and implementations of homeless women in Toronto. We suggest some issues concerning support for homeless women.
