Abstract

In this study, the situation of building demolition construction has been firstly investigated for residential buildings. From the viewpoint of resource and energy saving, we have examined the enemy consumption for demolition, recycle and re-use. According to field study, a method to calculate the energy use to renew the building materials has been presented. By using an example of housing complexes, the process of the demolition construction in 2001 and 2002 has been discussed. And the treatment method, the schedule and energy use in each demolition construction project also have been analyzed.
