Abstract
A “Inkyu-oyobi-shitei-zu” and a “Shoke-teitaku-shinden-kosho” are collections of drawings and data about aristocratic residences from Heian to Kamakura period. This research revealed several points. The “Inkyu-oyobi-shitei-zu” was drawn and written by Kozen Uramatsu from Tenmei times, but it is possible that “Shoke-teitaku-shinden-kosho” was not authored by Kozen. The best book is possessed in the Tokyo National Museum. Kozen described some restored drawings. But his purpose was to collect many drawings and data A limit of his work was not to have a chance borrowing the best text. He tried to choose suitable pictures from picture scrolls as much as possible.
