Abstract

The construction materials were insufficient because of the war in Japan between 1938-1949. Then, the newly products were developed, which were made of new resources without energy. Also the government evaluated the newly products, and guided those quality improvements. Our findings could be summarized as follows: 1) During the war, the government completed a basic plan to promote the newly construction materials. 2) In occupied Japan, the government promoted “New Construction Materials” for housing reconstruction by using the plan made during the war.
