Study on relationship between the housing policy and actions in favour of social capital in France

does support for inhabitants from the viewpoint of living subject lead to housing improvement?

Abstract

Housing management is an important issue of housing policy in France. The status and the role of inhabitant is not clearly defined. Depending on the social capital theory, we analyse two actions, which are designed to build trust relationship among inhabitants. The one is collective garden and the other is the Neighbours’ Day. There several types of the collective garden in Paris and all year programs are invented from one day event of the Neighbours’ Day. If they help the development of social inclusion of inhabitants, it does not lead them to become housing management players.
