Multi-level logistic regression analysis was performed to examine the effects of neighborhood environments on going out based on geographic information, public statistical information, and questionnaire data from fiscal year 2020 at an elementary school district in Kitakyushu city. The result indicated that the convenience of neighborhood facilities was positively associated with increasing going out. Comparative verification was performed to examine the effects of local environments on going out based on questionnaires from fiscal year 2016 and fiscal 2020. The results showed that enhancing neighborhood environments improve going out.
