through the analysis of the dwelling experience reports

Abstract

Using as material reports containing textual information and floor plans, which are the outcome of the ‘dwelling experience interviews’, this paper examines methods for producing an understandable summary version of the reports that shows the characteristics and trends of the interviewees' dwelling experience. First, the ‘dwelling experience unit’s defined as the basis for the analysis, considering the method of extracting specific actions by keywords and tying them to the floor plans, the quantitative analysis of interest trends, and the conceptualization of the dwelling experience by M-GTA.
