An experiment of mobile DIY atelier for public housing residents

Abstract

Mobile temporary DIY Atelier for residents in housing complex who have no work environment It was realized creating a comfortable space where users can discuss lively each other through a spacious workbench is placed between the soundproof booth and the truck bed that serves as a tool shelf, and a canopy is hung over it. In terms of the content of the workshop, there was demand from a wide range of age groups for original furniture production and use of the atelier with technical support. There was also a case of using old materials and we can imagine the possibility of an upcycle system within the housing complex.
