Abstract
1. The author examined 6 dogs which seemed to be suffering from acute nephritis. They were all males of pure breed of large size.
2. The principal symptoms were composed of enervation, tonsillitis, hematuria, and albuminuria.
3. Hemolytic streptococci were isolated from the venous blood of a fatal case.
4. Five cases recovered from the disease after the treatment with penicillin and sulfa drugs.
