Primary cardiac hemangiosarcoma was found in a 7-year-old male Giant Schnauzer and a 13-year-old female Chow-chow. Cardiac tumors were located in the right atrium with widespread metastasis. Both dogs died suddenly as a result of rupture of the tumorous right atrium leading to heart-tamponade.
