Abstract

Intussusception with ectopic mummified fetus was seen in a 5-year-old female Japanese cat. The ovariohysterectomy was also preformed. The ileal intussusception was surgically resected and an end-to-end anastomosis was established with successful recovery after operation. The uterus showed no gross changes. A full term-mummified fetus was faintly attached to the omentum without formation of the placenta.
