Abstract
A 2-year-old female mongrel dog showing chronic osteomyelitis following open fructures on the left distal radius, ulna and carpal joints was treated with osteotomy of the exposed dead bones, fixation with a K-E splint and cancellous bone autograft. The consequent atrophic process was improved and functonal bony union was achieved after additional superficial osteoparacentesis and cancellous bone regrafting at the fracture site.
