Myelographic examination of an 8-month-old female golden retriever withprogressive bilateral hind-limb palsy indicated the presence of an intradural, extramedullary mass at the level of L1. Laminectomy followed by durotomy was performed to remove the mass. Histopathological examination of theexcised tissue showed epithelial nephroblastoma characterized by urinoferous tubule-like structures andglomerulus-like structures. The dog recovered and, 13 months after surgery, showed neither neurologicalproblems nor metastasis.
