Abstract

With the increase in omics research data, it is necessary to automate the integration and visualization of those and pathways with software. Pathway visualization requires high customizability and web application, but it is hard for many bioscience researchers to use JavaScript for its development. In addition, many pathway visualization web applications are not designed with a view to modification or new application by a third party after publication. We have developed a reusable and encapsulated pathway visualization library for the Python dashboard framework Dash, like web components. In this paper, we introduce what pathway visualization is, how Dash-Pathway software we have developed, and how it differs from the other pathway visualization web applications.
