In the first and the second report, the numerical method for initial flow problems around an uniformly accelerated elliptic cylinder in an incompressible fluid is described. In this paper, the same method is used and the flow field is analysed. For a circular cylinder and a flat plate, of which angle of attack is 90°, the numerical results of vortex length are compared with experimental results by Taneda. The comparison is found satisfactory. The initial phase of the growth of secondary vortexes with time is also analysed for a circular cylinder. The time development of the flow field around elliptic cylinders at various angle of attack is obtained. And flow patterns correspond with variations of lift are studied.
