抄録
Experiments were conducted in the water tunnel by using the model of a Savonius rotor of blades with flaps equiped by deflectors, and the influences of the flaps and the deflectors on the output power-tip speed ratio characteristics and the torque-blade angle characteristics, and the variations of the characteristics by the wind direction were clarified. The flow around the rotor and the deflectors were visualized to discuss the working mechanisms of the rotor, flaps and deflectors.
