There are many papers concerned with flow visualization around a circular cylinder, but most of them reported the flow that flow boundary did not affect the flow pattern around a circular cylinder. Now since offshore structures have been or will be built, it is necessary to investigate the flow field around a horizontal circular cylinder suffered from bed boundary effects.
