Vortex chamber Oscillation Device is a Fluidic Watering device of a simple structure without any moving part, and to which only self-oscillating phenomena of water is applied. To visualize this oscillating phenomena, the high speed camera, 4000 frames per second, is applied and the instantaneous images are taken. Using these continuous images, the oscillating frequency was estimated; and the wave shapes of oscillation were obtained by the output of the small pressure tranceducer which is placed facing to the outlet flow near outlet port. The flow pattern was made clear by the computer simulation, and the necessary data to improve the characteristics of this device were obtained by this computational results.
This device is used effectively for snow melting installation of Shinkansen, the washing machine of food case and machine element, and the hygienic washer.
