To investigate shock oscillation mechanism in supersonic nozzle, high speed CCD camera is used with schlieren system. Power spectral density distributions of shock displacement and cross-correlation between shock displacement and light intensities at various points are obtained. As a result, it is clarified that shock oscillation mechanism consists of downstream moving large scale turbulent structure generated due to shock motion and disturbance propagating upstream in core flow region.
