The present study describes the velocity profiles in a circular pipe jet of drag-reducing surfactant solution. The Reynolds number covers from 5000 to 20000, and the velocity field is measured by LDV. It is revealed that the radial momentum transport is significantly reduced at Re 5000, but the reduction becomes insignificant at higher Reynolds numbers.
