The authors describe the performances of the new type ionization gauges UVG-1 and UVG-2 having grids of U-form and conclude that.
1) The mounting of the electroctes of these gauges are very easy, and the deviations of their sensitivities from each other are very small.
2) The grids anre of the U-form, and two leads are provided in order that grids may be heated electrically.
3) The sensitivities of UVG-1 and UVG-2 are large, the former sensitivity K being 40/mmHg, and the later one about 90/mmHg.
