Amendment to JIS Z 8126-1 Vacuum technology—Vocabulary— Part 1 : General terms

Abstract

ISO 3529-1 Vacuum technology—Vocabulary— Part 1: General terms was amended for the first time in 38 years in 2019. The joint committee of standardization which consisted of JVSS and JVIA discussed to amend JIS Z 8126-1 to harmonize with the amended ISO standard. The amended JIS will be published in September 2021. Several important amended points such as definition of standard reference conditions for gases and that of high vacuum will be introduced at this presentation.
