Abstract

Si-based solar cells, which are currently the mainstream of solar cells, are excellent in terms of both durability and power generation efficiency, but their production costs are high, and there is a need for new solar cells to replace them. Among them, dye-sensitized solar cells are low cost and environmentally friendly, but their durability is uncertain because they use liquid. The authors focused on Cu2O/TiO2 thin-film solar cells in which all the structural materials are replaced by solid materials in order to increase the durability. In this study, we focused on the TiO2 layer and tried to improve the power generation efficiency by adding N during the TiO2 deposition.
