This study aims at developing a visualization system of coastal disaster risk which provides static and dynamic information so as to enable to intuitively understand disaster characteristics and its risk. The static information was offered by a web application with Google Maps API. The dynamic information was visualized utilizing three-dimensional animation techniques and a three-dimensional geographical information system with actual image. The utility of the system was confirmed using the tsunami simulation results by Kawasaki et al. (2012). The results showed that the system was capable of providing useful information for considering coastal disaster risk such as tsunami, storm surge and so forth.
