Abstract

In Japan, to create regions where local people can earn money and also work with peace of mind is one of the policy goals of regional development. In order to realize this goal, there is a need to create community-based businesses through local innovation. It is important that the public and private sectors collaborate and use innovation design methods to realize regional innovation.

The author is supporting the creation of community-based businesses in City A using the innovation design method. The purpose of this paper is to propose a new methodology for co-creation of new community-based businesses by the public and private sectors using the innovation design method.
