The authors have studied methods of measuring angular distribution of submarine daylight and constructed a new instrument.
The instrument is suspended in seawater and the measurement can be carried out by remote control from on board a ship. From results of the experiments at sea the authors have found, that this instrument is entirely suitable for research. The experiments at sea of measuring angular distribution of daylight in the horizontal plane at each voluntary depth within 80m have further brought about a lot of interesting results.
