抄録

Recent world trend toward discontinued rationalization for the improved ship building ever requires development of a new technique over all branches of the modern naval engineering. New practice of cable installation for outfitting ships, discussed in this paper, represents a good apprpach to solve the technical problem, posed by the described engineering requirement. Unique merits of the proposed new technique of cable installation which meets all the considerd engineering requirements for efficient ship outfitting are discussed, and a comparison with various conventional methods are made. Practice of the said technique, mechanical strength and current limit of the installed, and technical data of the cable and installation materials are reviewed.
