A 29 year-old housewife was diagnosed as having Hodgkin disease by a needle biopsy and hospitalized. During the course of the therapy with vincristine, endoxan, 6-mercaptopurine, prednisolone, 60Co and so on, cryptococcal meningitis and bacterial meningitis developed. Cryptococcal meningitis relapsed several times in spite of amphotericine-B and 5-fluorocytocine therapy. Bacterial meningitis was found to be due to Clostridium sordellii.
