Recently, we encountered a tuberculous lymph adenitis occurring in the right cervical region. The patient, a 69-year old woman, complained of a mass in the right cervical region. Extraoral examination revealed a 4.5x5.5cm sized, elastic hard, painless swelling. For treatment, the mass was surgically removed along with the surrounding tissue. Histopathologically, the lesion was composed of epidermoid cells, langhans'giant cells, and caseous necrosis with marked calcification. The prognosis was fairly good after surgical treatment, and there was no sign of local recurrence at present. We reported this case together with a discussion based on the literature.
