Abstract
Recently, it is noticed that prosthetic devices are effective for the treatment of patients with sleep apnea syndrome (SAS). Although the trend like this suggests that we prosthodontists will be able to contribute to the medical field, the education in this field is very poor in dental schools. Therefore, we have to study about a device for SAS and its treatment effect immediately to cooperate with the medical field In this report, we described the outline of SAS such as history, treatment method and treatment effect with literature review. we also described our approach for the patients with SAS and our research up to the present.
