Bichloride solution of various concentration were administered through muscles to albino rats that were either pregnant or in lactation. The author attempted at the same time to observe the tooth germs of foetus between foetal period and growing period, and between sucklings and child rats pursuing their ages. The transition of patho-histological findings was made clear following with the growth of tooth germs and considerations of their appearance were attempted. The summaries obtained are as follows. 1) Despite each group experimented showed reactions that were differences according to quantities acted of irritators through their mother bodies and duration of action, the tooth gorms showed mootly an anological and etapes, and the author could not point out characteristics of pathological types of dental organ of mother rats. 2) The nature of the patho-histological changes of tooth germs shows their germ constituent structural tissues in the growing period of the proliferation or transitional changes in accordance with the growth of tooth germs. i) The tooth differentiation of the cells showed atrophy and 2 cardinal changes of degeneration alone or complieately and the author recognized partial necrosis or transgoing findings of necrosis and forther more adding differential in completion of inner enamel blasto and odonto blasts. ii) In the period of proliferation of the hard tissues could by tooth cells or formation retardation, incomplete formation, forming anomaly. diffuse disturbauce of calcification of the enamel and the ground substance of dentine and gradually progressive findings of the atrophy, degeneration, necrobiosis and necrosis of soft tissues were recognized. iii) In the period of tooth eruption or the period of paradental tissue formation, the author recognized the disturbance of tooth eruption, diffuse calcifying disturbance of dentine, formation retardation, incomplete formation and calcifying disturbance of cementum and alveolar bones, atrophy, degeneration, necrobiosis, necrosis and circulating disturbance. 3) The author recognized various disturbances caused by embryological changes as differences between the changes of dental organs of mother rats the progressive findings of the proliferation of soft tissues, hypertrophy and proliferation of hard tissues and such destruction as resorption and fusion of hard tissues. 4) Considering the degrees of the changes of tooth germs, the one of tooth germs of sucklings is slighter than the one of fetal tooth germ when the author observed different circulation of irritators. The former showed atrophy as cardinal change and was abundant in the appearance of necrobiosis with degeneration, but was short of the appearance of necrobiosis with atrophy. 5) Concerning the retrogradibility of the pathological change of tooth germs. There is observed the non-retrogradibility when irritators circulate through placentas but observed the retrogradibility, when through mammary glands. After allin the early developmental stage and bel-form stage of tooth germs and under the period when constituent cells have not yet elevated their proper functions, the pathological changes tirsn into retrogradibility in case when irritatars added and the appearance of the growth disturbance of tooth germs are entablished. 6) Concerning the cause of congenital mercury developmental disturbance of tooth, irritating faetars introduced into mother body through placentas and mammary glands are regarded as primary factors. Ane the directreaching action of irritating factors to tooth germs and the inner secretion disarders that were caused in the mother body at the same time are regarded as secondary factors, the author considers. On the other hand the distantreaching action that the pathogen factors necessarily occurred directly or indirectly in the tooth germs of mother bodies suffered from poison of mercury, the author considers, may be an important factor.
