The author analyzed the difference of daily nutritional intake status in the 118 students who were admitted to the Department of Nutrition of Kochi Gakuen Junior College New students. The students were divided into two groups. One was the obese group which showed high body mass in-dex (BMI), over 26.4,and the other was the non-obese group which showed low BMI under 26.4. The following results were obtained ; the obese group took calories-rich and a lot of nutrients, and they took more salt than non-obese group. Although the obese group were shown high fat and low carbohydrate status in total nutrients, they took much animal food rather than plant food. Also, we pointed out the obese group took a lot of fish and eggs compared with meats and dairy products in their animal foods.
