When the finned heat-transfer surface is used as the heat exchanger and nuclear fuel element considering high temperature, there are some cases where surface emit radiative and convective heat energy accompanied by internal heat-source. There are some reports of treating a simple behavoir of heat transfer surface. For example, Gardner reported the theoretical solution of convective finned heat-transfer, and Chamber analysed the character of radiative finned tube and so on. But, mutual heat-transfer mechanism is not yet known. This report shows the character of radiative and convective finned surface accompanied by internal heat-source. The steady state conduction heat-transfer equation of finned surface was introduced, and solved by using digital computor. Thus, temperature distribution and radiative, convective efficiency was derived. So, we can calculate the value of radiative and convective heat-transfer ratio.
