Special schemes for numerical integrations to overcome singularities of integrants are required to be developed so that the numerical solutions with sufficient accuracy may be generally obtained by the conventional Boundary Element Method (BEM). In this paper, the investigation is made to improve the accuracy and the efficiency on linear elastic and thermo-elastic BEM. Namely, the comparison between the numerical results derived by the double exponential formula and by the high-ordered Legendre-Gauss formulae is shown on source points which are very close to the boundary element. It is made obvious that sufficiently accurate solutions can be obtained with better efficiency than that by the conventional method by adopting integral domain which can eraze the positive and the negative symmetry of integrants.
