Using the specimens of the orthotropic materials made of resin mortar and oriented fiber glass, the member with a notch in the mid span was subjected to three-point impact bending, then the crack initiated and it had fractured. On the process the position of the crack tip and the dynamical stress intensity factor were determined by means of photoelastic coating method using the image converter camera IMACON-790. The specimens with variant anisotropic direction were experimented, and the resulting superposition showed how the variation of the crack propagation velocity and the dynamical stress intensity factor differed with anisotropic direction. Then, the influence of anisotropic on the fracture behavior was made clear.
