The purpose of this paper is to propose a vibration control method of structures which are designed in parallel. In this control method, the optimum adjustment is analyzed under the consideration of the structure being a part of the damping system. The analyses are made under the following approximation, that is, the structure is composed of a mass and a spring, and vibrates as a one-degree-of-freedom model. In this paper, two vibration models are dealt with. The first model is composed of the two structures which are connected with a damper, and the second model is composed of the three structures which are connected with two dampers. From the analysis, it became clear that the Theory of P, Q and the Theory of P, T, Q are useful as the optimum adjusting method of the parallel structures connected with damping elements.
