In the aerospace industry, the parts to be machined are generally very complicated and produced by the one off manufacturing. Thus, huge kinds and numbers of cutting tools should be managed and a dynamic manufacturing schedule should be realized as well. This paper proposes a new concept "FMC Integrated System of Object driven" type. A manufacturing system based on this concept can deal with manufacuting tasks and tool managements without the predetermined schedule. Objects in the concept represent components in relation to the material flow within the manufacturing system like workpieces and tools. In contrast, cells represent basically manufacturing facilities such as machine tools, storage, AGV and so on. Cell activity should be driven by a requirement from an object, and auctions are conducted by the driven cell playing a role of a manager to determine the next schedule of the object. Since tools, jigs and fixtures are defined as objects, it is one of the characteristics that the object management can be carried out autonomously. Some simulations with real process information have also been conducted, verifying the validity of the proposed concept.
