"Cellgaia" is the high-performance pulp, in which A-type or X-type zeolites were crystallized at high density inside the wood pulp by our original technique. It has been presented about its application for papers or nonwoven fabrics having antibacterial and deodorization characteristics in the 37th, the 42nd High Performance Paper Society, Japan. The silver, copper and zinc ions are incorporated into the zeolite in Cellgaia, which materials are currently applied in various uses.By irradiating ultraviolet rays or purple light to the silver-containing zeolite under certain conditions, the zeolite was found to emit visible light. The pulp supporting this zeolite was found to emit light as well, which was named “Hyper Silver-Cellgaia".
