フェロセンの置換した2-メトキシトロポチオン及びその関連化合物の合成と性質

Ferrocenes having two tropothione moieties as the substituents can be expected to show an interesting intramolecular interaction between the two tropothione moieties. In addition, these molecules can easily produce transition metal complexes having supramolecular structures. We first converted ferrocenyl-2-methoxytropone into its thiocarbonyl counterpart 2 by treatment with P₂S₅. In a similar manner, 1 was synthesized from the corresponding tropone derivative. The title compounds 1 and 2 formed the metal complexes with Ag⁺, Cu⁺ and Cu²⁺ in CH₂Cl₂ and CDCl₃, and the electronic spectra of these metal complexes showed red shifts as compared with those of 1 and 2.
