Abstract
We synthesize 1,8-anthracene-acetylene cyclic dimers with an intraannular alkoxy group instead of an alkyl group. The presence of enantiomers was confirmed by optical resolution and CD spectra. Cyclic dimers with other alkoxy groups are also reported.
