Abstract
Some novel cyclic oligomers (1-4) have been synthesized by treating the salicylic acids and naphthoic acids with phosphorus oxychloride, respectively. Upon crystallization of the cyclic oligomers (1-4) from several organic solvents, stable inclusion crystals have been obtained and their crystal structures were determined by X-ray analysis.
